Between the 29th of November and the 6th of January, music and Christmas traditions are back in Mafra, with the initiative Christmas has arrived in the village.

The program includes activities for all tastes and for all ages, such as the exhibition of "Clay Nativity Scenes of Portugal", from the collection of Henrique Casquinha, the traditional Christmas Market, at Terreiro D. João V, in Mafra, and at Praça da República ("Jogo da Bola"), in Ericeira. Visitors can also find Santa Claus in these places on weekends. For the youngest, a carousel and a circus will also be installed in the village of Mafra.
