Last Tuesday I participated in one of your tours as a birthday gift to my self in search for a fun relaxing day of site seeing. Unfortunately I was not happy with your service. We were asked to wait at a hotel entrance in Vilamoura, My self and two friends drove 40 minutes from our current location to participate in your tour, as we were staying in Tiveria. We arrived at 7:35am, ensuring that we were early for our tour, as in fact we were not requested to be collected until 7:50am. We waited until 8:15am until we started a number of phone calls regarding where our tour bus was (Our tour guide did also have our phone number, but unfortunately did not bother to use it). When we were informed that the tour bus had left without us, and that it had waited by the road, (not the hotel entrance as we were asked by the tourist office we booked by) and that the bus driver had even walked down to the entrance of the hotel looking for us. (Which he/she did not as we were sat on the entrance steps). We were also told that we would therefore need to take a taxi to Albufeira to catch up with the tour bus. The bus however was not there, as told and when phoning the office we were told that they were unsure as to what the phone number of the bus driver was and that they were unsure they even got the message. Our taxi driver then had to drive us to the outskirts of town where we finally found our tour bus! When we arrived we were presented with a very annoyed tour guide, who proceeded to tell us how wrong we were, until I noticed that the woman did not even have the correct hotel address for our pick up. What a shambles! So not only did i have a horrible experience but my wallet was 32 Euros lighter for the taxi to catch up with your stupid bus. THANK YOU PORTITOUR'S for the WORST BIRTHDAY EVER!
