Monuments

There still remains the keep and the mullioned window which lit one of the rooms of the governor's palace.

There are remains of the military buildings to be seen in the parade ground. There is also clearly visible evidence of the castle's reconstruction in the reign of D. Manuel (the armillary sphere, window and royal coat of arms).
