Objectives, Activities and Expected/Accomplished Results
The strategic objective of the project "Valorização do Destino - Promoção Internacional Integrada de Portugal" is to contribute to increasing the visibility and competitiveness of Destination Portugal in the issuing markets and consequently of the regions and tourism companies.
The promotion of Portugal as a tourist destination, as well as the regional brands, is fundamental to affirm Portugal's international image in the travel and tourism market, namely in the purchase options of foreign tourists and in order to leverage the country's economy and business network.
The project contemplates a set of activities to be developed, namely:
- International advertising and digital media campaign;
- Integrated content system for the communication of Portugal as a destination;
- The architecture of a new digital ecosystem www.visitportugal.com.
These activities aim to strengthen international awareness of Destination Portugal and to contribute towards converting the country's promotional activity into sales.
