Herdade de D. Pedro is a typical Alentejo farmhouse situated at the center of 100 hectares of olive groves and grazing land, with magnificent views over the surrounding region and the village of Terena with it's medieval castle and fortified chapel BOA NOVA. Horses and flocks roam free, and birdlife abounds.
For those who wish to relax, we have a swimming pool where you can refresh yourself during the hot summer afternoons followed by a ride along the riverside until the sun sets, or take a jeep safari down to the river Guadiana and visit the old water mills with the dramatic views over the spanish plains.
