The Lido is the most famous bathing area in Funchal and is located in a rocky coastal area, in the western part of the city. With two saltwater swimming pools, renewed every day, the complex also has access by a set of steps to the ocean for those who prefer to swim in the sea. It has excellent support infrastructure and enjoys a prime location in a very touristy area boasting several hotels, bars and restaurants.
