Large and enclosed by tall cliffs, Água de Madeiros Beach has a full range of services and facilities including a bar and restaurant in addition to horse rides through the surrounding pine forest. The sheltered part of the Beach is enriched by the fabulous limestone sedimentary strata as well as a small river, ideal for children to play in.
From the summit of the staircase, the São Pedro de Moel lighthouse can be seen at a distance of some 3 kilometres, marking the centre of the liveliest resort in this region.
