Igreja de São Quintino
Monuments
This church is a fine example of the architectural style of the first half of the 16th century and is today considered a national monument. The Igreja de São Quintino has three naves and is decorated with an imposing door where the Manueline features combine harmoniously with those added in the Renaissance period.
The walls of the church’s interior are lined with a magnificent group of azulejo panels, dating from the 16th and 17th centuries and displaying decorative patterns that are considered to be unique.
