Hotel Colina dos Mouros
Placed on the entrance of Silves, the Hotel Colina dos Mouros is in a privileged location due to its integration one of the most rich areas of the Algarve in terms of historical and patrimonial references.
Full of history and monuments, this city was long ago the capital of the Algarve, and was one of the famed cultural centers of the Iberian Peninsula in the Arab period, being today one of the most visited places of the South of Portugal.

There are excellent beaches near Silves with crystalline waters and extensive gold sand dunes, like Armação de Pêra and Pêra, only 15 minutes distance. Besides those, many other beaches, from Senhora da Rocha to Carvoeiro, are relatively close. In these beaches there are perfect conditions to pratise some water sports, like windsurf, diving, sailing and others.
