Museums and Palaces
The building housing this museum was originally known as the old "Caza Real" (Royal House), so-called because it was there that the queen Dona Leonor was afforded “assistance”. The museum reveals the memories of the institution and the urban space that developed around it.
Its collection consists of paintings, sculpture, woodcarving, gold and silverware, religious vestments, furniture, ceramics, graphic documents and medical and scientific instruments from the 16th to the 20th century.
