Maritime beach
With a long stretch of sand that is asn extension of Manta Rota Beach, Lota Beach is bathed by a calm sea with a very pleasant temperature. It has a good support infrastructure and is surrounded by small dunes adding beauty to the landscape.
The beach owes its name to the fish market that operated here (lota) – selling fish straight in from the fishing boats. Today this activity is defunct, but you can still see the occasional fishing boat here.
