The Palmela Kartodrome is the most ambitious national infrastructure for Karting. Located in the shadow of the beautiful Palmela hill, the complex stands out due to a series of truly exceptional characteristics including especially the 1,270 metre circuit, its constant ten metre width in addition to the 1,500 square metre pits and support zone.
Another of its defining characteristics relates to its immediate surroundings, the 200 hectare Algeruz Estate. The estate remains fully agriculturally productive and is also home to the "Museum of the Vine and Wine" (in the old wine cellars). Thus, the Kartodrome takes on an almost unprecedented visual impact not only due to the beauty of its immediate surroundings but also due to the fine contrast it makes with the adjoining agricultural facilities.
