Also called Vieirinha or Pedra da Casca, Vale de Figueiros Beach has a wide stretch of sand bathed by strong waves that are much appreciated by surfers and bodyboarders. This beach is part of the Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, one of the best preserved coastal stretches on the European mainland.
