Légua Beach is set within a landscape of great beauty where the golden dunes contrast sharply with the green slopes beyond covered in canes that have gradually encroached over the native habitat even though some types still survive such as the maritime thistle.
Despite being a very popular destination, the beach is broad and long ensuring there is always enough space and never too crowded. The sea, sometimes with large waves, is excellent for surfing.
