Convento da Provença
Convent that retraces to the early years of the Middle Age, belonged to the Frades Biguinos, followers of voluntary poverty. The building was rehabilitated in the XV century, by Bishop D. Jorge de Melo, whose weapons still remain next to the gate of the patio.
The touristic unit is composed of 7 rooms and 2 suites with privative room, all equipped with air conditioning, television, hair drier, safe, mini bar, telephone and Internet access. There is also a room for children, a multi-use room for conferences and other events, swimming pool, pedestrians, and bicycle stroll zone. The visitors can also appreciate a minerally rich water, as well as an excellent opportunity for a quiet and restful stay.
