Tours and Other Tourism Services

The Heritage Tour organizes 12 comprehensive themed events around the Ribatejo region throughout the year (one theme per month), which includes the gastronomy, culture, natural heritage, architectural heritage, ethnographic heritage, showing all the best the region has to offer. The themes are as follows:

January- New wine tasting
February - Monuments
March- Castles
April - Natural Parks
May- Templar Route
June- Aldeias Avieiras
July- Taurus
August- Rivers and reservoirs
September- Harvesting
October - Gastronomy
November - Horse
December-Olive Oil

In addition to these twelve monthly themes, the Heritage Tour also develops one-day tours, which can be held throughout the year, also framed in the Ribatejo region, and all its surroundings, and hobby programs.

Another of the objectives of the company is the contact / articulation between the visitors / tourists and the local population, so that the visitors have a real knowledge of each place, thus exerting a strong pedagogical component.

The visits are guided by guides and technicians of each theme, accompanied also by local animation.  In each theme we count on the participation of two weekly groups, maximum of 25 people.
