Almargem Beach, also known as Cavalo Preto Beach, lies between the sea and the River Almargem, which forms a lagoon here much sought after by waterfowl. This extensive and unspoilt sandy beach is accessed by a rough track about 3km long, and is surrounded by a pine forest that provides a beautiful landscape and great places for picnics in contact with nature.
