With access from Mirandela town centre, the River Beach of Arquiteto Albino Mendo at Parque Dr. José Gama is a leisure area with good support facilities. It stretches for over 100 meters along the banks of the River Tua.
This beach is set in a park with over 3 km of green, landscaped areas, in which there are playgrounds, picnic areas and sports facilities, including tennis and beach volleyball courts.
