This beach is right inside the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, in the Loriga glacial valley, traces of which are still visible. The pure, crystal clear waters of Loriga River Beach come from a spring in the mountains, and it is surrounded by a preserved environment, in a rugged area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s a place of tranquillity and serenity, and is a beach with good support services, offering the opportunity to go hiking and practise various adventure sports.
