On the right bank of the Alva River, near its mouth, the Vimieiro River Beach is located near the village of São Pedro de Alva. With excellent conditions of accessibility for all and good support infrastructures that include bar/restaurant, esplanade and picnic park, this is a very beautiful and peaceful leisure area, surrounded by lush vegetation that can be discovered by following the pedestrian trails.
There is also a water mill and a wheel driven by the river current that add a picturesque touch to this bathing area.
