Quinta de Lograssol
Quinta de Lograssol is located in the village of Lograssol, 3km away from Mealhada and 5km from Serra do Bussaco. In the heart of Bairrada, area known by the green of its woods and extensive vineyards, the excellent quality of the wine and the local gastronomy where the infamous leitão is king are major stand outs.
The main house, with its nineteenth century facade, had its first reconstruction in 1870 and constitutes a landmark of the area. The current owners, heirs of the original proprietors, rebuilt the house in 2012 keeping the facade and the patio. An inner courtyard with centenary trees gives the Quinta an intimate environment of great beauty, full of colors and smells. This space allows for a quiet stay, away from the rush of the city but with all the best comforts you could find in a hotel.
The Quinta has 6 rooms with TV, air conditioning, central heating and a private bathroom. Outside, a porch allows for relaxing and some good reading, followed by a garden that ends in the pool, inviting for a refreshing bath.
The guests will also enjoy a familiar atmosphere, and can try traditional cuisine, home cooked in the Quinta (by appointment).
