Situated in Parque Natural Serra D'aire e Candeeiros, Retiro da avó Lídia has created programs that are more than mere lodging are to promote contact with the traditions, typical rural activities, architectural and natural heritage of the region.
Retiro da avó Lídia is a farm house from 1930 that was rebuilt keeping the architectural characteristics of the region and practicing sustainable environmentally friendly building.
We provide 4 double rooms, all suites, with air conditioning and free internet.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a traditional wood oven.
Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner (by request).
In the living room, equipped with plasma TV, we kept a traditional fireplace and the stone of the walls. The aromas of garden flowers help relax whilst lounging on the porch.
In the organic garden you can become familiar with a production that respects nature and gives rise to tasty plants- will have even the opportunity to taste the products of the season.
You can make your outdoor barbecue, and enjoy the view over the floor.
Retiro da avó Lídia has private car park. Pets allowed. To complement your stay, we organize some activities: Hiking, donkey and horse tours, wine tasting, regional products tasting, cycling, mountain biking, workshops, team-building, “folar” and bread manufacturing, among others.
