The Wooden Boat Experience offers a different program to escape the crowds that invade the Algarve beaches during the summer season. We have an offer of boat and kayak trips which is a great choice to enjoy and adventure into a fantastic experience at sea.

Aboard the “Frontino”, a traditional Portuguese wooden boat built in 1957, with a lot of comfort, space and stability, enjoy guided tours accompanied by our professional skippers who tell you all the local history ready to provide you with an incredible and fun experience. On routes other than the usual ones, we aim to provide you with a truly natural and relaxing experience.

With our coastal tour from Alvor to Lagos, discover the beauty of the Algarve coast on a relaxing tour that starts in the Alvor estuary in the protected natural area, to the historic area and beaches of Lagos. With several activities on board, a stop for diving and a bar with snacks. An ideal experience for the whole family and for all ages. We can still be lucky enough to receive the pleasant visit of dolphins that also make the same route.

For the more adventurous we offer the combined boat and kayak tour (João de Aréns) where you can discover the natural beauty of the Algarve coast and with our kayaks, take the opportunity to enjoy and venture into the caves and deserted beaches that our coast has to offer.

Tours take place three times a day: at 9 am, 1:30 pm and 4 pm. However, it is also possible to rent the boat for the whole day for birthday parties or other events.
