Zoos and Aquariums

Maia Zoo is dedicated to preserving the animal world and is home to over 300 species living in environments specially created to replicate their natural habitats. 

Panthers, monkeys, birds, bears, tigers, lions, leopards, elephants, squirrels and parrots are just a few of the amazing animals from all over the world that you can see at Maia Zoo.

And there are lots of other attractions too. There are turtles, lizards, snakes and crocodiles in the Reptile Garden; a seal and sea lion show in the Seal Pavilion; and Noah's Ark, which is home to animals from the desert and forest, as well as nocturnal and aquatic species. And there is a children's playground too. When you have finished wandering around the animal world, what could be better than a well-deserved rest in the picnic park?
