Maritime beach
With its broad expanse of fine sand, Quião Beach is bounded to the north by Cabo de Santo André and to the south by Ribeira do Esteiro. It has easy access and good supporting facilities.
Traditional activities are still practised here: fishing during the winter and, mainly in the northern area of the beach, collecting seaweed and leaving it to dry out on the sand.
