The Church of Misericórdia of Chaves is a baroque-style church, built in the 17th century.

The granite façade, with a stone staircase, stands out for its decorative details. Inside, the walls are covered with decorated 18th century tiles, representing a variety of biblical scenes and motifs.

The church's rear façade has the peculiarity of resting on the medieval wall that once protected the city, and it is a curious example of architectural use.
