The Quinta do Alamal river beach is part of a stunning setting on the banks of the River Tagus. It belongs to a leisure complex which, in addition to support amenities for the bathing area, also has an Adventure Centre offering various activities such as rappel, slide, boating and canoeing.

The view from the beach is breathtaking – Belver Castle stands out on a hilltop in this landscape where the lush vegetation provides a contrast with the calm waters of the River Tejo. For lovers of hiking and walking, there is a wooden boardwalk along the river bank, between the beach and Belver bridge, with fine views out over the flora and fauna.
