Carpe Vita offers you complete programs that combine Nature sports with lodging in traditional houses. We are located in Aljezur, right in the centre of the Vicentine Coast, so that you can fully enjoy and discover the fantastic Natural Park where we are.

To understand the reason why this region has been declared a Natural Park we invite you to do a trekking along the coast. These walks, of one or more days, are guided by an experienced and certified guide (member of the National School of Mountaineering). They combine the peace and contemplation that the virgin nature of this region provides, with the stimulating and healthy practice of walking.
Our biggest challenge is to invite you to come and walk all the Western Coast of Algarve with us... All this by ancient trails of fishermen and farmers!

For the ones that prefer to feel the Vicentine Coast from the sea, Carpe Vita organizes several day programs of initiation to the art if riding waves – a.k.a. Surf! These classes are also conducted by an experienced and certified instructor (by the Portuguese Surf Federation) and lifeguard. They include all the necessary surf equipment (board, wetsuit, ...) and the transportation to the beach.
Therefore you can now come and learn how to surf in one of Europe’s most sunny and consistent surfspots!

In our programs you will stay lodged in our retreat-houses. They have traditional architecture and are very well located on the old quarters of Aljezur. There are four houses, fully equipped with kitchenette, TV, DVD, sound system and central heating. Tastefully and individually decorated, creating in each of the houses its own specific ambiance.
