The Oitavos Hotel
The Oitavos is a five- star luxury hotel located on the Estoril coast, near to the town of Cascais and just 30 minutes drive from Lisbon airport. It over looks the Atlantic Ocean and the Oitavos Dunes golf course, and is surrounded by a splendid natural landscape. All 142 guest rooms, including 16 deluxe suites, will have an area of at least 64 square meters, with The Atlantic and The Oitavos suites being double that size. All guest rooms have their own balcony and views over the ocean and the golf course. In addition the property will feature a state-of - the-art Conference Centre for groups of up to 300 people. The Oitavos will have a destination spa featuring natural and organic products and wellness treatments, including a spa garden and two sea water heated pools. The hotel will offer a variety of restaurants including a gourmet dining room, a sushi bar, tea lounge and an indoor /outdoor restaurant for casual dining. The Oitavos has been designed to bring together the timeless beauty of the western Atlantic coast and authentic Portuguese hospitality and cuisine. It will be the first luxury hotel and wellness spa developed on the Quinta da Marinha Original property and will embrace, rather than compete with nature. Set amongst sand dunes and umbrella pines, and next to the award winning Oitavos Dunes golf course, the bold design, sleek lines and elegantly simple interiors of the hotel focus attention outwards – on the historical and natural elements of the terrain and the drama and romance of the Atlantic Ocean. With landscaping designed to preserve the delicate ecological environment of the dunes, the Oitavos Dunes golf course became the first in Europe and the second in the world to obtain the Gold Signature Status Sanctuary and the Audubon International Gold Seal, the highest level certificate awarded for the preservation of nature. The Oitavos will be the area’s premier venue for leisure travel, dining, business and incentive meetings and social events.
