Quinta do Chocalhinho is located in Bemposta, a village located 2km away from Odemira, next to the Natural Park of the Southwest of Alentejo and the Vicentine Coast. The sea is as close as a 15-20 minutes drive to the famous beaches of Zambujeira do Mar, Almograve or Vila Nova de Milfontes.
The walking paths within the 70 acres of the Quinta are bordered by centenary olive trees and may lead us either to a small lagoon, hidden in a small dense forest or to steepest paths along the wavy hills from where the view is magnificent.

Walks, picnics, hiking, close contact with nature (bird watching, biological vegetable garden, discovery of local flora), children´s playground, salted water pool diving and a match in the tennis court are some of the activities available for the guests. And if it is a rainy day, why not surrender to a card play by a cozy and friendly fireplace?

Quinta do Chocalhinho – acquired in 1942 by Luis Freitas and today belonging to his homonym grandson, who lived there part of his childhood – has 10 rooms, all with TV.
