We offer a 4 bedroomed, fully furnished house for 8 to 10 people.
This wonderful country house is placed in an area of outstanding beauty (UNESCO 2001).
There are many beautiful walks to the Douro River, through vineyards and valleys. There are opportunities to visit (and taste) the local wines and ports – surely the best you will find.
You will have the opportunity to experience the culture, the scenery and the history of this wonderful region, well known for the richness it has shown since the foundation of Portugal. The famous Portuguese writer Miguel Torga described the Douro region as “an excess of beauty”.
The nearby (4 kms) village of Armamar boasts a 12th century church. This is a National Monument.
You can also visit more than 6 National Monuments in the area.
