"Cazal da Lamella" is a complex of rural houses restored with all the comfort and preserving the original architecture - "Casa do Forno" and "Casa da Nogueira". The granite walls inside "Casa do Forno" contrast with the modern architecture of "Casa da Nogueira" in which white colour is predominant. In the living rooms the fireplace becomes a friendly meeting point for long conversations in the winter evenings. The houses of " Cazal da Lamella" are a special place for a comfortable stay where the sun and the observation of birds, flora and lake create an atmosphere of the rural way of life in the north of Portugal.Situated in Minho region – North of Portugal "Cazal da Lamella" is located in Fafe, about 5 km from the city center. Guimarães (European Capital of Culture 2012) is 18 km away, National Park Peneda-Gerês is at 43 km and Porto Airport at 74 km (55 minutes).
"Cazal da Lamella" is a typical rural house rebuilt in 2011. The complex includes two independent houses in a 2 ha park, providing great tranquility for those who wish to stroll in a private park through the water and the flora of the agricultural landscape of northern Portugal.
