Birdwatching Lisbon is specialized in organizing and guiding birdwatching tours from Lisbon. Our tours are available all year round on request and include door to door transportation, guiding by experienced field ornithologists, use of optical equipment and field guides, and travel/accident insurances.

At the moment we offer two main destinations – the Tajus Estuary Nature Reserve (about 20 minutes drive from Lisbon), and the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve (about 40 minutes drive from Lisbon), which are organized in two alternative formats – half (4,5h) and full-day (9h) tours. In the meanwhile several other itineraries, both in and around Lisbon and further away from Lisbon are being prepared and would became availble soon. Although our tours are primarily directed for birders and for delivering exciting birding and bird photography experiences, we can also provide very interesting and educational activities for a more general audience, such as those looking for a pleasant day in the countryside and for a first contact with these region’s natural, historical and cultural traits.
