Founded in 2009 on the Praia da Vitória de Paredes, Pataias parish and municipality of Alcobaça, the Paredes `Surf School & Camp Store has the main objective transmit the correct learning Surf and especially its essence and added value in all aspects, physical, social, mental, and others. Having always guideline, respect for nature, most notably Ocean.

Its founder David Mota (and Head Coach) took the initiative to form this school because of its strong connection of the modality, and especially to Nature. Beginning to practice Surf in 1988, the founder of this school from an early age and especially due to proximity to the sea, have a strong connection to the ocean and everything that surrounds it.

In 2006, when held the post of lifeguard on the beach Paredes, he realized the great looking and interest in the sport, and that same year started to pass some knowledge and Tips To ""surfers"" started that approached the beach looking for information about the ocean and the sport.
