Virtual Visits to Portuguese Heritage in Google

Anyone wanting to discover and have more information about the main monuments in Portugal before arriving in the country can now do so virtually, at home and before their journey, at the Google Cultural Institute.

The virtual visits display the country’s most important artistic, natural, architectural and cultural heritage, including some of the national icons recognised both at home and abroad. 

The Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Jerónimos Monastery), Mosteiro da Batalha (Batalha Monastery), Mosteiro de Alcobaça (Alcobaça Monastery), Palácio da Pena (Pena Palace), the town of Óbidos and the Castelo de Guimarães (Guimarães Castle) are just some of the 57 places that can now be visited at https://www.google.com/culturalinstitute/project/wonders-of-portugal  https://www.google.com/culturalinstitute/project/wonders-of-portugal
