The “Santa Bárbara dos Mineiros” has opened its doors to offer excellent accommodation. The renovation has been achieved in keeping with the original style of the building whilst providing a modern atmosphere and conveniences.
As well as the leisure facilities of the garden and swimming pools, guests can visit the local Handicraft Centre, the Old Market, the Mine Museum (electrical power plant) as well as walk or ride a bike in the surrounding area. We can also offer walks (3 levels of difficulty), horse riding and massages, all available when booked in advance.
Guests can also enjoy gastronomy of the miners and wine from the Alentejo in the Restaurante Mineiro (Miner’s Restaurant).
