River beach
Situated in an area of great natural beauty on the banks of the Cávado River, the Adaúfe river beach extends for about 200 metres. It includes a sandy area and a large grassy area, connected by accessible pedestrian paths.
The beach offers conditions for various activities such as volleyball, canoeing and extreme sports, and offers excellent support facilities, including a diving board, fitness park and a picnic area with tables and barbecues.
Evoking times gone by and other uses of this space, it is still possible to find here an old mill and an irrigation and water elevation system for the nearby farmland.
