And though it seems as if we´re lost in the middle of the fields, hearing only the birds and the wind passing through the elms that borders the creek,… amazingly  it´s possible to drive to the center of Aljezur and get there in 5 mn. 

we are  a possible base for exploring the wonderful landscapes and beaches of Costa Vicentina National Park. You just need to decide if you go  North or South to enjoy the  many  sunny beaches near our place. The nearest beaches are Arrifana and Amoreira (8 to 10km by car from our home). 

Go and catch the waves   or just go and catch the spectacular sightseeing of the line coast or the views from the many hills and valleys…because Casa Alva is also in between  the natural secrets of Rota Vicentina and Via Algaraviana you will have many trails to be discovered, many photos are there to be taken with theirs typical colours, smells and movements.

And this can be done in so many different  ways, calmly strolling  through the paths, serenely stumbling upon donkeys, energetically running and climbing, using bicycles or horses…if you don´t know if you will prefer to search for specific birds or damselflies,  you just need to decide what you would fancy more and start exploring!
