Recently inaugurated, the Álvaro Siza Wing is an extension that pays homage and showcases the work of the architect of the Serralves Museum, and is one of the unavoidable names in Portuguese and world architecture.

This exhibition, CASA, focuses on the first homely and small-scale projects that Siza Vieira worked on: from his grandmother's kitchen to his uncle's gate. The first works were a set of Four Houses, relatively close to his parents', and a Tea House, on the other side of the Leça River, facing the Atlantic. The public will be able to see not only his first houses, but also the post-Revolution social housing projects, the creation of a kind of House for the City, the unfinished Avenida da Ponte, or a House for the Nation, in the then empty "Pavilion of Portugal".
