With this exhibition, the Museum of Contemporary Art/CCB marks the deposit of the Teixeira de Freitas Collection. It is a selection of contemporary drawing that includes works by more than 50 artists, and presupposes an understanding of drawing as a continuous process of artistic practice. The Teixeira de Freitas Collection includes a strong component of drawings, from projects to works in this medium.

The choice of artists represented is very wide, including not only figures with extensive careers, but also emerging names at the time of the acquisition. Therefore, alongside artists such as John Bock, Julie Mehretu, Martin Kippenberger or Julião Sarmento, others less known emerge, revealing the collection's ability to take risks and the collection's attentive eye for contemporary design.
