Considered one of the biggest names in the history of flamenco guitar, Rafael Riqueni comes to Portugal to present his "Herencia". He started in music at the age of twelve, winning the Ramón Montoya Prize at the 8th Córdoba Competition and the VI National Competition in Jerez, at the age of fourteen. He was absent for more than two decades, returning to the stage at the Seville Flamenco Biennial in 2014. In 2020, he received the Guitar with Soul Award at the 34th Jerez Festival for "Herencia", and was also nominated for a Latin Grammy. In 2023 he received the National Guitar Award for the Chair of Flamencology in Jerez. Don't miss the opportunity to listen to one of the great icons of contemporary flamenco.
