The "Festas de Nossa Senhora do Carmo" – known as the "Festas de Moura" – this year are held in this beautiful Alentejo village between the 11th and 14th of July!
One of the most important local events, the "Festas de Nossa Senhora do Carmo" (Festivities of Our Lady of Mount Carmel) every year have a program full of moments of entertainment and lots of music.
Between concerts by ethnographic bands, popular music bands and philharmonics, dance shows, the program highlights names such as Raya, Rosinha, Miguel Bravo, Los Romeros and Classe Operária, which will fill the atmosphere with celebration. There will be nalso candlelight processions, horseback riding and classic car rides.
