The white festivals on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, always have great adherence, with the Ponta Delgada White Ocean being one of the most popular. It takes place in the historic center of Ponta Delgada on the first Saturday of August and is already considered one of the largest open-air summer parties on the island.

The streets are embellished with summer motifs and visitors dress up in white, alluding to the freshness of the days and the foam of the sea waves. Throughout the city, you can attend concerts with regional artists, as well as entertainment with DJs at the City Gates.
