The beautiful village of Apúlia, in Esposende, celebrates Nossa Senhora da Guia every year on the first weekend after the 15th of August. These festivities in honour of Our Lady of Guia are the main ones of the year in the village of Apulia.

Its religious aspect plays a fundamental role, highlighting the novenas that begin a week earlier in the Mother Church of Apulia, and also the candlelight procession, which marks the beginning of the festivities. On the last day of the festival, the procession takes place, which carries the image of Nossa Senhora da Guia. Concerts are another important aspect, highlighting this year the concerts by Tony Carreira and Calema.
