The Espinho International Music Festival was born in 1964, being one of the first classical and classical music festivals in Portugal. This year, it takes place between June 14 and July 22, in various spaces in the city.

Throughout the more than three decades of existence, it has been asserting itself as a Festival of unique characteristics in the country, arousing the sympathy and admiration of visitors. Today, it receives some of the best interpreters in the world in their areas of activity, in various places in the city and some outdoors, such as the Espinho Matriz Church, Santa Maria Maior Chapel, the Swimming Pool Square Solário Atlântico, the Planetarium of the Multimedia Center of Espinho, the Interior Garden of the Municipal Library of Espinho and the Dr. José Salvador Square.
