Quem és tu? – A National Theatre Looking at the Country
Events
The exhibition "Quem és tu? – A National Theatre Looking at the Country" draws analogies between the history of a place, the D. Maria II National Theatre, and the definition of a discipline, in a country crossed by different narratives.
Starting from diverse elements, such as photographs, costumes, models, drawings, films, props and administrative and creative archives, this exhibition begins from the establishment of the military dictatorship by the coup of 1926, exploring the many realities of almost a century of history. Curated by Tiago Bartolomeu Costa, the exhibition has already visited 11 municipalities, as part of the National Odyssey of D. Maria II, and has now arrived in Lisbon.
