Daniel Blaufuks – The days are numbered
Events
Daniel Blaufuks is a visual artist with a vast published bibliography and a successful international career, developing since 2018 a visual-textual diary where he comments on current affairs and his life.
He now presents, at MAAT, the exhibition "The Days Are Numbered", where he exposes the year 2023, a few days from the previous five years and the first months of 2024. In total there are more than 450 works, from photographs, collages and clippings with personal inscriptions, which refer to brief stories, quotes and comments. Here you can see, on simple A4 sheets, placed at the bottom, how the artist numbers the days/years that go by, pasting on them instant photographs and some clippings, and handwriting or stamping in the languages he masters some sentences, his own or quoted without reference.
