With a European tour scheduled, the artist will stop at Guimarães to sing and enchant the Portugal. Since the release of her debut album, "Don't Let the Kids Win", in 2016, Julia Jacklin has won over fans with her lyrics. This was followed in 2019 by the album "Crushing" and then "Pre Pleasure" in 2022, recorded in Montreal with co-producer Marcus Paquin (The Weather Station, The National), a meeting between Jacklin and the band that accompanied her on the tour in Canada. The album is the most faithful reflection of her way of being – a lyricist willing to explore the depths of her own life experience and translate it into deeply personal and timeless songs.
