Miguel Marquês is the young photographer selected by Serralves for the return to the Museum of the novobanco REVELAÇÃO, an initiative that aims to support young creation in the field of photography.

In this exhibition we can see the journey that took Miguel Marquês far from our borders – to a distant country to which only a sad geopolitical actuality has brought some familiarity: Moldova, an independent country after the collapse of the Soviet Union and in a constant movement of emigration, triggered by socio-economic problems and deficits. Some of these emigrants come to Portugal. One of them, Valentin, met Miguel Marquês in Lisbon, but on a trip to his country's capital announced as brief, Valentin disappeared. This exhibition bears witness to Marquês's attempts to find him, in a mysterious environment in which the photographer/detective advances.
