The heart of Alfama will once again host the best Fado Festival, now with the name Caixa Alfama, on the 27th and 28th of September.

All over Alfama, the various stages create a truly alive neighborhood, full of stories of fado singers. The musical selection will be judicious, giving space to consecrated voices, but not forgetting the new generation of fado singers. Being a festival with memory, it also has a tribute to Hermínia Silva, one of the greatest figures of Portuguese popular culture. The poster features names like Camané, Carminho, António Zambujo, Jorge Fernandes, Marco Rodrigues, Marina Mota and Ricardo Ribeiro.
